RECLAIMED BARN WOOD VANITY

Arched BarnWood Vanity with Drawers

At Vienna Woodworks Furniture Co we are constantly adding or modifying designs mostly because we are a custom furniture shop that specializes in reclaimed wood furniture.  Customers contact us frequently to make them something unique.  I think that is one of the most enjoyable parts of owning this business. Instead of making the same exact piece of furniture day in and day out, I get a chance to design new pieces or modify old pieces constantly.  Especially barnwood vanity and medicine cabinet products.

Sometimes it is difficult to share a photo of every single piece that we make because we are focused on getting the product to the customer as quickly as possible.  Often I find that a photo shoot will cause a delay.  However, when possible we do take pictures so that we can add them to our blog and website.  I hope that the photos we add will inspire customers to come up with their own ideas and designs so they can have something that no one else owns, made just for them.

Here is our Arched barnwood Vanity with drawers added.  We've made many of the version of this piece with just the two doors in a variety of sizes ranging from 24 inch to 36 inch.  This 42 inch version was recently made for a customer and we love the way the two tone barnwood looked!

Here is another version of the vanity that's been super popular.  It has a more subtle gray in it in the doors but  we will make whatever makes the customer happy and everyone has different tastes for their rustic decor! Just ask us, and we will do whatever you want.

Some New Barn Wood Furniture Pieces

This has been the busiest summer in the history of our company, and we have our amazing customers to thank for that! People from all over the United States including Hawaii and Alaska, Canada and even New Zealand have come to us for their reclaimed wood furniture and log furniture needs. We've been especially busy building reclaimed wood kitchens that varied from rustic styles to more refined.  Another popular one has been the rustic hickory kitchen.  These styles are so versatile that they have been installed in cabins, lake homes, and even apartments in New York City!  When you pick up the phone, you never know who you will be speaking with next!

Barn Wood Dining Table Style 2 With New Panel Back Dining Chairs

Since antique barn wood is so beautiful when it is run through a planer, it can be used to make not only beautiful looking solid wood furniture, but also some amazing interior doors.  Reclaimed wood interior doors are another product that we are constantly building.  We can not make them fast enough!  Even after hiring additional staff, we have had to run over time all summer long.  It's been crazy here at Vienna Woodworks LLC, but it's been a good crazy!

New Barn Wood Chair Design

We will be posting some of the photos from our summer 2011 projects and they will include some of the new designs that we have come up with this year.  There are, as always, more new products in the works since Chris is always thinking of new furniture designs.

Rustic Vanity Custom Made

Rustic Vanity

After all of our years building rustic furniture, it's become obvious that our most popular product is our rustic vanity. We have built many different styles and variations of vanities for customers all over the United States, and started with a rustic cedar vanity, then a cedar log vanity and eventually added a barnwood vanity. The barnwood vanity has evolved into several different styles, from weathered gray to vessel style to cross buck. In addition to this, we also make styles in cherry and oak, pine, reclaimed fence wood, butternut, and our now in demand Adirondack Bathroom Vanity. These bathroom cabinets come in all different sizes and styles, drawers and doors can be custom configured, and they come with or without a wooden top.

Our standard drawer boxes are constructed from birch, with dovetail drawer boxes available as an upgrade. All drawers are made with metal drawer slides. In most areas of the country, bathroom vanities do not customarily come with backs. We can add a back if a customer requests this, however, it is often much easier to install plumbing if the back is left open. This also makes plumbing easier to maintain over the years.

We would be happy to answer any questions that you might have about the construction of and pricing of our rustic bathroom vanities, or any of the other products that we make here at Vienna Woodworks. Please visit our website to see the full selection. The items on our sight are just a sampling of what we can provide.

A very popular furniture piece for us this spring has been our rustic bathroom vanity made from rustic cedar. Our vanities come in a variety of wood including cedar, hickory, pine, reclaimed cedar fence (trust us, it looks great!) and authentic 100 year old barnwood.

The picture above is a 48" rustic cedar vanity and a 24" authentic barnwood vanity. We can make them to your specifications, so if you are interested and have something in mind, feel free to call us or send an email. You can view more options at our website - http://www.viennawoodworks.com/.

Options include wood top with standard finish or the recommended liquid glass.

We also now sell the hammered copper sinks to go with them!
