Vienna Woodworks has been a leading United States manufacturer of reclaimed barn wood furniture and log furniture since 2002. Our products are made in our Minnesota shop in the heart of barn country. Arched BarnWood Vanity with Drawers

At Vienna Woodworks Furniture Co we are constantly adding or modifying designs mostly because we are a custom furniture shop that specializes in reclaimed wood furniture.  Customers contact us frequently to make them something unique.  I think that is one of the most enjoyable parts of owning this business. Instead of making the same exact piece of furniture day in and day out, I get a chance to design new pieces or modify old pieces constantly.  Especially barnwood vanity and medicine cabinet products. 

Sometimes it is difficult to share a photo of every single piece that we make because we are focused on getting the product to the customer as quickly as possible.  Often I find that a photo shoot will cause a delay.  However, when possible we do take pictures so that we can add them to our blog and website.  I hope that the photos we add will inspire customers to come up with their own ideas and designs so they can have something that no one else owns, made just for them. 

Here is our Arched barnwood Vanity with drawers added.  We've made many of the version of this piece with just the two doors in a variety of sizes ranging from 24 inch to 36 inch.  This 42 inch version was recently made for a customer and we love the way the two tone barnwood looked!

Here is another version of the vanity that's been super popular.  It has a more subtle gray in it in the doors but  we will make whatever makes the customer happy and everyone has different tastes for their rustic decor! Just ask us, and we will do whatever you want.

Vienna Woodworks continues to add new products to our line of reclaimed barnwood furniture, much of which is custom made to order.  The wood comes primarily from barns near our Waseca, Minnesota shop in Southern Minnesota.  

Many of our reclaimed barnwood pieces are created based on customer requests.  Often customers will send us drawings or photos of ideas they have come up with and we design them an heirloom quality piece of furniture that will last for generations.  The barnwood is provides an elegant and unique look with its warm cinnamony patina and rich tones.  

Most of the time we do not stain our furniture, however, we will do this upon customer request.  There are times where a customer would like their barnwood table and chairs, or other piece of reclaimed wood furniture, to match the decor in a certain room, and we are well equipped to accomplish this.  The easiest way to achieve the desired look is for us to send stained samples to the customer so that they can be sure that we are on target in regard to their expectations.  

Our reclaimed wood tables can be made to any size and style, with stains and finishes that bring out the grains and hues in the wood.  

Our goal is to work with our customers to provide them with exactly what they envision.  Customer satisfaction is our highest priority at Vienna Woodworks.  We strive to provide a high quality furniture piece, hand made in the United States, at a reasonable cost.

Reclaiming Wood For Furniture

Recently we took down a barn right here in Waseca, MN, just minutes from our shop. This will allow us to continue to create our reclaimed wood furniture from this antique barnwood. This barn was built circa 1932 according to the land owner who lived on this property when she was a child. There is a lot of great wood here. In the next few days, we will be able to post some pictures of the wood close up but for now we thought we would show you the fun video that our friend Ed took of the frame coming down.

We have our trailers packed full with several loads of these old barnboards, and a few more loads to go until the whole works is cleaned up. Most of the barn wood which is heart pine, is in fantastic shape! Chris keeps talking about what he is going to make in the shop with all of this wood, so stay tuned for some new pictures of his latest furniture creations.

Chris also has a lot of orders currently, so our turn around time right now is approx 4-6 weeks, however this also will depend on the size of the order and other variables such as the actual project requested.

It's been extremely busy this spring, which doesn't leave much time for many other things, including blogging!
