Very Sturdy, Very Rustic and Very Unique

My husband Chris, the owner of Vienna Woodworks Rustic Furniture Co in Waseca, MN loves making these bent branch beds or twig beds as they are sometimes called. Chris does not like calling these beds twig beds because he feels that the word "twig" does not truly represent them, as thicker, stronger bent braches are actually used. He goes through our Very Large pile of logs and bent branches and selects the parts, and as he describes it, puts them together, like a puzzle. Building rustic furniture takes more than just knowing how to run equipment and follow a plan. There is a great deal of creativity and artistic talent involved in making unique pieces of furniture that are not only pleasant to the eye but also functional and well crafted. More often than not, the end result is the product of his vision and internal planning. Besides using standard measurements for certain pieces of rustic furniture, there usually are no paper plans involved. Chris' blend of talents for both creativity and building furniture have resulted in some products that have a very natural look to them.
